Very easy and delicious recipe of Makhana Cutlet


Cutlet Recipe: If you are fond of eating cutlets, then this time make something different from bread cutlets. If you have not tried any different cutlet before, then today we are going to tell you such a recipe of cutlet which is tasty as well as healthy. This recipe is made with very healthy ingredient Makhana.  We all know about the benefits of Makhana. Makhana helps in many things from reducing your weight to maintaining your cholesterol level. So  Let us quickly tell you the recipe of Makhana Cutlet, after eating which you will forget bread cutlets. Serve it with tomato or mint chutney and enjoy with hot tea.
Ingredients to make Makhana Cutlet 
  • 50 grams of makhana (lotus seeds)
  • 1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp black salt
  • 1 tsp dried mango powder
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 4 to 5 green chilies crushed
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp peanuts
  • 15 to 20 raisins
  • 10 to 15 cashew nuts chopped
  • salt as per taste
Makhana Cutlet Recipe 
  • To make this wonderful dish, heat ghee in a pan and fry the nuts in it. After roasting, grind them coarsely.
  • In the next step mix all the ingredients with mashed potatoes in a blender.
  • Take a small portion of the mixture in your hands and shape it into a patty or cutlet.
  • Now heat oil in a kadhai or a pan on medium heat and fry them till they turn golden brown.
  • Just your makhana cutlet is ready. Serve it hot with tea and mint chutney.
