Stock Market Closing On 3rd October 2022: The first trend session of the month of October has been very disappointing for the stock market investors. The fall in the stock markets around the world has had an impact on the Indian market. In today’s trading session, the stock market has closed with a fall due to profit-booking of investors. Mumbai Stock Exchange’s index Sensex fell by 668 points to 56,758 and Nifty closed at 16,875 points down by 213 points.

Sector’s condition
The biggest fall in the market today has been seen in the shares of FMCG and banking sector. Nifty’s FMCG index closed down 2.09 percent, while Bank Nifty closed down 1.56 percent. auto. Shares of IT, Metals, Energy, Consumer Durables sector also saw a sharp decline. Small cap and mid cap stocks also witnessed profit-booking. Of the 50 stocks of Nifty, only 9 shares closed in the green, while 41 stocks fell. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 4 stocks were buying while 26 stocks closed down.

If we look at the stocks which gained today, ONGC 4.42 percent, Dr Reddy Lab 1.94 percent, Cipla 1.42 percent, BPCL 1.31 percent, Coal India 1.27 percent, Divi’s Lab 0.58 percent, NTPC 0.44 percent, Bharti Airtel 4.49 percent and Wipro 0.06. Closed with a gain of percentage.

Adani Enterprises closed down 8.64 percent, Eicher Motors 5.67 percent, Adani Ports 4.42 percent, Maruti Suzuki 3.18 percent, Tata Consumer Products 3.10 percent, HUL 2.74 percent, Hindalco 2.46 percent, IndusInd Bank 2.44 percent.
