You can contact the customer care of UPI apps Paytm, Google Pay and PhonePe if money goes to the wrong account. You can request for refund by calling them.

You will see the PPBL number in the message received after the transaction. Thereafter, you may meet the Branch Manager at the earliest. If the wrong payment has been made due to wrong name, then you will have to provide proof to the bank that the name of the account holder is the same. While complaining to the bank, mail the information as well.
