He said, “The best place for his batting is in the opening slot. I think leaving Pant for the T20 World Cup 2022 would have been the best decision for India.” Jaffer said, “I think Axar Patel has done well for some time now. So I don’t know why Team India didn’t trust him.
It is worth noting that Team India will play a series against Australia and South Africa before the T20 World Cup 2022.
