A BCCI source said, “We are in talks with a few teams that will play practice matches with us. ICC has kept two matches for us. The players of our team along with coach Rahul Dravid will leave for Australia to play the World Cup on October 5.

Australia and New Zealand will have a practice match

Team India will play the last match of the three-match T20 series against South Africa on October 4. Indian players will leave for Australia soon after this match. However, India also has to play a three-match ODI series against South Africa. But in this series only those players will get a chance who are not part of the Indian team’s plan in the World Cup.
