GPT 5 : The launch of ChatGPT has shaken the world of Artificial Intelligence. The situation has become such that now every company is working on its AI. Although, AI has been running for many years, not from now, then the world did not pay much attention to it, but ChatGPT forced people to think about it. OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has confirmed that it is not trying to train GPT 5 after releasing the highly efficient GPT 4.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said this during an event at MIT. At the event, he was asked about an open letter signed by Elon Musk and other tech community members urging companies to halt development of AI systems more powerful than GPT-4.
What is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a chatbot developed by OpenAI that provides quick and almost accurate answers to a wide range of questions. For this reason ChatGPT has become famous very soon. Currently it has more than 100 million monthly active users. However, its rapid growth has also raised concerns about its potential impact on security, privacy and employment. Altman alluded to some of these concerns during his talk at MIT.
Altman will make AI secure
Altman was not convinced by the open letter signed by Musk. He said that the open letter has missed the essential details as to where the development should be stopped. He also said that it is being falsely claimed that OpenAI is training GPT-5. Instead, the company is focusing on security issues related to GPT-4 and other AI systems. He said that we are working on making AI safe.
