At the same time, the SA20 league will start in South Africa. Australia’s Big Bash League and Bangladesh Premier League are also played at this time. West Indies players are part of these four leagues. In such a situation, there is every possibility of this tour going ahead.
Series to be held in February 2024
This tour of West Indies to be held in January next year can now take place in February 2024. Then West Indies have to come to Pakistan to play three Test matches under the World Test Championship. A three-match T20 series is also likely to be organized at the same time.
Windies team has come to Pakistan twice in 10 months
Recently the West Indies team has done two tours of Pakistan. A three-match T20 series was played between the two countries in December 2021. After this the ODI series was to be played but it was postponed after the cases of Kovid-19 came to the fore in the Windies camp. In June this year, an ODI series was played between the two teams.
