What did Ravana say before dying, which everyone must know

Ravana’s sermon: Even though Ravana was the king of a demon clan. But there is no other person like him in the world. That’s why it is said that Ravana is only one. Lankadhipati Dashanan Maharaj Ravana was very powerful, mighty warrior, supreme Shiva devotee, knower of Vedas and great scholar.

Features of Ravana

In Jain scriptures, Ravana has been considered as Prati-Narayan. This is the reason why Ravana’s name is also included in the 64 Shalaka men of Jainism. Ravana Brahma was knowledgeable and knowledgeable in many disciplines. He knew many types of tantra, hypnosis, indrajal and magic. Ravana also had such a plane, which no one else had. That’s why when Ravana is lying on his death bed, then Lord Rama asks his brother Lakshmana to get the knowledge of politics and power from Ravana.

Why did Rama tell Lakshmana to take lessons from Ravana?

When there was a war between Ram and Ravana, Ravana was defeated. Ravana was in a dying state. Then Ravana asked Lord Rama to teach Lakshmana. Because Ram also knew that Ravana was a great scholar of policy, politics and power of this world. That’s why Ram told Laxman that you should go to Ravana and get such teachings related to life from him, which no one else can give you. After listening to Lord Ram, Lakshman went and stood near the head of Ravana who was lying on his deathbed.

But Ravana did not say anything even after Laxman stood for a long time. Laxman came back to Ram and said Lord! I stood near Ravana for a long time, but he did not say anything. Then Lord Ram said that, to get knowledge from someone, one should not stand near his head but near his feet. After this, Laxman again went to Ravana’s feet and stood and what Ravana told Laxman before his death, everyone must know that even today.

What did Ravana say before dying?

• Ravana while giving knowledge to Laxman says that there should be no delay for any auspicious or good work. On the other hand, as much as you have to control the attraction for inauspicious work, you should try to avoid it.
• One should not be so proud of one’s power and valor or be so blind that the enemy starts to look insignificant. I had received a boon from Lord Brahma that no one except humans and monkeys would be able to kill me. But in spite of this, I took them for granted and this was my biggest mistake, because of which today I am lying on the verge of death.
• Ravana’s third sermon was that, there should be understanding to identify between one’s enemy and friend. Many times we consider the enemy as our friend, who later prove to be our enemy. On the other hand, those whom we alienate considering us as enemies, they are our real friends.
• Giving knowledge to Laxman, Ravana said that no one should be told about the deep secrets of his life. Then no matter how close he is to you. Because Vibhishana was my well wisher when he was in Lanka and when he went to the shelter of Rama, he became the cause of my destruction.
• Ravana’s last sermon was that, no evil eye should be kept on any other woman. Because the person who keeps an evil eye on a stranger woman gets destroyed.
