Uber apps have been hacked before
However, the company has denied these claims. The company says that all services including Uber, Uber Eats, Uber Freight and Uber Driver app have been restarted. Uber reported that the ride-hailing service had reported the hacking, shortly after which they discontinued their services. Earlier, in 2016, hackers allegedly stole information from more than 57 million driver and rider accounts.
