Stock Market Closing On 20 June 2023: Tuesday’s trading session was excellent for the Indian stock market after Monday’s fall. After noon, the market closed in the green mark due to buying by the investors. Earlier, the market was trading with a decline from morning to afternoon. But due to the return of purchases in banking, IT, energy stocks, the BSE Sensex rose by 160 points to 63,227 and the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty closed at 18,816 points with a jump of 61 points.

In today’s trade, there was a boom in the banking sector, auto, IT, FMCG, metals, real estate, energy, consumer durables and oil and gas sector stocks. While the stocks of Healthcare, Pharma and Media sectors closed down. Mid-cap and small-cap indices also saw a spectacular jump. Of the 50 Nifty stocks, 35 closed with gains and 15 with losses. Whereas, out of 30 Sensex stocks, 18 stocks closed with gains and 12 stocks fell.
