Luxury Apartments in Mumbai: An apartment consisting of 23 luxury homes has been sold in Mumbai, which is being described as possibly India’s largest apartment. This apartment has been sold for 12,000 crores under the high end residential project in Worli. According to the Times of India report, the seller of this luxury apartment is Sudhakar Shetty.
This apartment was the last apartment of builder Sudhakar Shetty under this project. He had entered into a deal with builder Vikas Oberoi to redevelop the project. Now this apartment has been sold.

According to TOI, DMart founder Radhakrishnan Damani’s family, relatives, friends and close associates have bought these spacious apartments in Tower B of premium luxury project Three Sixty West on Dr Annie Besant Road in Worli. Each house is approximately 5,000 square feet in size.
How much money was earned by selling the apartment
About 50-60 crore rupees have been earned from each by selling apartments with 23 luxury houses. The builder has used this amount to repay the loan of Rs 1000 crore. Shetty had taken this loan amount from Piramal Finance. Sources said that Shetty has returned the loan amount to the Piramal Group.

The report quoted a property market source as saying that the flat has been sold at a discount as the builder is under pressure to repay the loan. Apart from Piramal, Shetty has taken a loan of about Rs 400 crore from Hong Kong’s global banking and asset management group SC Lowy.
