Stock Market Closing On 29th September 2022: The Indian stock market opened with great momentum on Thursday morning. But during the day’s trade and in view of the decline in European markets, profit-booking returned in the Indian markets. After which the market started trading in the red mark. At the end of trading today, the Sensex of the Mumbai Stock Exchange closed at 56,415 points with a fall of 183 points, while the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange fell 15 points to close at 16,853 points.
Today was the monthly expiry of September in the market. Pharma, FMCG, Metals, Media rose in today’s trading, while the shares of Auto, IT, Energy, Oil and Gas sectors closed with a fall. Mid cap and small cap stocks also saw a rise in the market today. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty index, 25 shares closed in red mark and 25 shares closed in green mark. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 12 shares closed in the green, while 18 shares closed with a fall.

If we look at the stocks which were up today, ITC 2.51 percent, Dr Reddy 2.16 percent, Tata Steel 1.68 percent, Sun Pharma 1.38 percent, Nestle 1.17 percent, Mahindra 1.13 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.80 percent, NTPC with a gain of 0.66 percent. is closed.

In the declining stocks, Asian Paints 4.99 percent, Tech Mahindra 1.86 percent, Titan Company 1.53 percent, Kotak Mahindra 1.49 percent, Bajaj Finance 1.53 percent, TCS 1.20 percent, Wipro 1.14 percent, Maruti Suzuki 1.05 percent.
