Relief from expensive edible oil, Mother Dairy reduced the price of mustard oil to other edible oil

Mother Dairy Cuts Edible Oil Prices: From next week, the prices of mustard oil and other edible oils are going to decrease further. Mother Dairy, which sells edible oil under the name of Dhara brand, has announced a reduction in the prices of all its edible oils by Rs 10 per litre. Edible oil stocks with new prices will be available in the market from next week.

Mother Dairy’s decision to reduce the prices of edible oil will provide great relief to the common people who were troubled by the expensive prices for the past several months. Even in the first week of May 2023, Mother Dairy had announced a reduction in the prices of mustard oil and other edible oils. But last week after the reduction in prices in the international market, the Central Government had asked the Edible Oil Industries Association to further reduce the prices to its members. The government had asked to reduce the price from Rs 8 to Rs 12 per litre. After which Mother Dairy has taken this decision.

According to the spokesperson of Mother Dairy, the MRP of all variants of Dhara Edible Oil is cut by Rs 10 per litre. He said that this decision has been taken due to better availability of mustard in the domestic market along with reduction in prices in the international market. Dhara’s refined soyabean oil has been reduced to Rs 140 per litre, while the SRP of refined rice bran oil has been reduced to Rs 160. Dhara’s refined vegetable will be available for Rs.200. Dhara Kachi Ghani mustard oil will be available for Rs.160 per litre.
