NBEMS NEET MDS 2022: National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the edited cut-off list for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2022 on the official website mcc.nic.in. Earlier on October 12, the Union Health Ministry had directed NBEMS to declare the result for NEET MDS 2022 exam.
As per the edit eligibility criteria of NEET MDS, the Union Health Ministry has reduced the cut-off percentile by 25.714 percent for each category including General, SC, ST, OBC and UR-PWD. NEET MDS revised cut-off score for general category is 174, for SC, ST and OBC category is 138 and for UR-PwD category it is 157. Candidates can check the edited NEET MDS cut-off scores below.
NEET MDS Edited Cut-Off Score
- The cut-off for General Category (UR/EWS) has been reduced from 263 to 174.
- The cut-off for SC/ST/OBC has been reduced from 227 to 138.
- The cut-off for UR-PWD has been reduced from 245 to 157.
NEET MDS 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The NEET MDS 2023 eligibility criteria for admission to Masters of Dental Surgery course are as follows. The eligibility criteria are decided by the Dental Council of India (DCI) by order of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). Candidates appearing in NEET MDS have to keep these things in mind.
- To fulfill the NEET MDS Eligibility Criteria 2023 candidates must have a BDS degree from a recognized institute.
- Final/Permanent Registration with State Dental Council (SDC) or DCI by 31st July, 2023
- The candidate should have completed one year compulsory rotatory internship by 31st July of the academic year in which the candidate seeks admission.
NEET MDS 2022 Result was released on May 27, 2022. According to NBE, the NEET MDS rank 2022 of the result released on May 27 will not be changed.
