Mixed start of stock market, Sensex opened down by 100 points, Nifty opened in green mark

Stock Market Opening: Today, the movement of the domestic stock market was a bit shaky in the pre-opening, but the Nifty returned to the green mark at the time of opening the market. The decline of Sensex also reduced and it opened after falling 100 points. The uproar in the American markets due to the Silicon Valley Bank crisis is not putting much negative impact on the Indian stock market at the moment.

BSE’s 30-share index Sensex today opened at 59,033.77 after falling 101.36 points or 0.17 per cent. On the other hand, NSE’s 50-share index Nifty has managed to open at 17,421.90 after a slight gain of 9 points.

Only 3 out of 30 Sensex stocks are doing seven business of decline and 27 stocks are seeing a boom. On the other hand, 47 out of 50 stocks of Nifty are booming and weakness is being seen in 3 stocks.

Tech Mahindra is trading with more than 8 percent jump in Sensex shares today. Shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC Bank, PowerGrid and ICICI Bank are up. Apart from these, shares of Bajaj Finance, HDFC, HUL, SBI, TCS, Bharti Airtel and Axis Bank are also trading strongly. Shares like ITC, Tata Steel, UltraTech Cement have also gained. Asian Paints, Nestle, M&M, Bajaj Finserv, Sun Pharma, NTPC, Titan are seen falling in falling stocks.

Market movement in pre-open

Today, Nifty and Sensex were trading with a decline in the pre-opening of the stock market. BSE’s Sensex was visible at 58944.52 with a decline of 190.61 points i.e. 0.32 percent. NSE’s Nifty was down 19.85 points, or 0.11 percent, at 17393.05.
