Maruti Suzuki has said in the information sent to the stock exchange that these affected vehicles were manufactured between May 4 and July 30, 2022. It said that these vehicles are being withdrawn for inspection and torqueing of the bolts attached to the seat belt of the driver’s seat.

The company says that it suspects that there is a possible fault in the bolt torqueing, which may loosen after a period. The company said that the affected vehicle owners will be informed by an authorized workshop of Maruti Suzuki for inspection and repair.
