Ingredients for Stuffed Tomatoes

  • Tomato – 5 to 6
  • Ginger – 1 inch grated
  • Garlic finely chopped one teaspoon
  • Potatoes – 2 to 3 boiled
  • Paneer – 1 bowl grated
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Asafoetida – a pinch
  • Cumin – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala – half teaspoon
  • Red Chilli – 1/2 tsp
  • Green chili – 2 finely chopped
  • Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt to taste

Stuffed Tomato Recipe

  • First of all, wash the tomato thoroughly and then cut it slightly from above in a round shape.
  • Now hollow the tomato from inside and take out its pulp with the help of a spoon and fill it in a bowl.
  • Now take two spoons of oil in a pan and fry cumin seeds in it. After this add chopped ginger, green chillies and garlic and let it cook.
  • Now add tomato pulp to this mixture as well as mix salt, red chili, turmeric and garam masala and stir for some time.
  • Now the pulp cooks for some time and starts getting thick, then mash the boiled potatoes and add grated paneer along with it.
  • Now your mixture is completely ready which you can stuff in tomatoes.
  • Heat some oil in a pan and keep the tomatoes on low flame for 5 minutes.
  • Keep in mind that the surface of the tomatoes should not stick to the pan. Pick it up carefully and don’t turn it over otherwise there is a fear of it getting scattered.
  • Now when the tomatoes are cooked, garnish them with lemon and coriander leaves and serve.
