Ingredients for Besan Ladoo
To make gram flour laddoos, take 1 kg of gram flour. Only 1 kg of boora has to be mixed in it. You have to keep the quantity of ghee around 700 to 800 grams. Take 7-8 tablespoons of semolina. If besan is thick then do not add semolina. Chop some cashew nuts and almonds. This will enhance the taste of gram flour laddus even more.
Besan Ladoo Recipe
1- To make gram flour ladoos, it is most important to roast the gram flour well. For this, take a heavy bottomed pan and put gram flour and ghee in it.
2- While roasting the gram flour, keep the gas fast in the beginning and then while stirring the gram flour, turn the gas on medium flame. As soon as the gram flour is roasted, it will become thinner due to the ghee.
3- You have to roast the gram flour well till it turns brown. Take care of the flame of the gas, roasting it on high flame will burn the gram flour. So keep the flame medium only.
4- When the gram flour is roasted, turn off the gas and keep stirring it. Besan may burn from the bottom due to the heat of the pan. If you want, take it out in another vessel to cool down.
5- Now fry the semolina after adding some ghee. Mix it in gram flour. When the roasted gram flour cools down, sieve the boora in it. Add chopped cashew-almonds to it as well.
6- Mix this mixture well. Now make laddus of your choice from it. Delicious besan ladoos are ready.
7- You keep them in a glass or steel vessel. Besan ladoos do not spoil for 15-20 days.
8- Diwali But the guests who come home must feed their own hand made gram flour laddus. Their taste is such that guests will not be able to stop themselves from taking another laddu.
