Maharashtra Board HSC Registration: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) had earlier last month released the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) board exam dates for the session 2022-23. Along with this, the board had also announced the registration dates for class 10 and class 12. As per the earlier schedule of Maharashtra State Board, registration for class 10 and 12 could be done till October 21, 2022.
Now MSBSHSE has decided to extend the registration dates for HSC i.e. class 12. The board has given information about this through the official Twitter handle. According to the program changed by the board, now instead of October 21, registration can be done till November 5. As per the pre-scheduled date, the registration process for regular students was October 21 and for private candidates the last date to apply was October 22, which has been extended to November 5.
Junior colleges will have time till November 11 to complete the process of submission of registration fee and pre-list at the divisional offices of Maharashtra State Board. The Maharashtra State Board has announced that the registration process for SSC will start from October 19 and will continue till November 10. Schools complain that this period Diwali overlaps with holidays and therefore should be extended.
Last year 14,85,191 students had registered
Lakhs of students appear in the Maharashtra State Board Exams. Last year overall, 16,38,964 applicants from nine divisions had registered for SSC. Around 14,85,191 students from all over Maharashtra had registered for HSC 2022, out of which 3,25,220 came from Mumbai division alone. The HSC examinations will be conducted tentatively from February 21 to March 20, 2023.
