NEET UG 2023 Exam Day Guidelines: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate is to be conducted two days from today i.e. on 7th May. This year around 16 lakh students are sitting in this single test to be conducted for admission in medical and dental colleges across the country. Preparations for the exam must have been completed, now once again see what rules have to be followed on the day of the exam. From the timing of reaching the centre, what is necessary to be carried along with you, what to avoid, know all these things and prepare accordingly.
reach the center 45 minutes before
Amidst all the formalities that take place at the center, you should not be late for the exam, so it is advised to reach the center at least 45 minutes before the paper starts. The exam will be held from 2 pm to 5.20 pm i.e. total three hours 20 minutes. Students can take their seats from 1.15 pm and no one will be allowed to enter the hall after 1.30 pm.
There will be important announcements related to the exam from 1.30 to 1.45 and the question paper booklet will be given at 1.45. From 1.50 to 2 pm, the candidates will have to fill their necessary details in the booklet. The paper will start at exactly 2 in the afternoon and will continue till 5.20 in the evening.
Do take these documents with you
While going for NEET exam, apart from your admit card, you must also take these things with you. It is necessary to take one passport size photograph along with you to affix it on the attendance sheet. Valid and Original Photo ID Proof like Aadhaar Card, Voter I Card, Passport etc. PWD certificate also if applicable. One postcard size (4”x6”) color photograph with white background is to be affixed along with the proforma which will be downloaded along with the admit card. This will have to be given to the invigilator at the centre.

- Stationery items like pencil, pen, box, eraser, calculator, writing pad etc. are not to be carried.
- Also do not carry mobile devices, pen drives, electronic items, smart watches, ear phones, health bands, smart watches.
- Do not carry goggles, handbags, water bottles, any type of food items, cameras, bracelets, jewelry, etc.
