Jamia will not reopen the registration window for CUET admissions, students expressed concern

Jamia To Not Open Fresh Registration Window For Students: Jamia Millia Islamia University (JMI Delhi) had opened the registration window (JMI UG Admissions 2022 Registration Window) for application under CUET Admission (CUET Admission 2022) till 10th of this month. Now this window is closed and the university has no intention of opening a fresh window. Many students are upset with this decision of the university (JMI UG Admissions 2022). In fact, the time given by NTA for changes in choices and the window opened by Jamia for changes did not match each other and many students lost their hands on this opportunity.

University strict on its decision
In this regard, the registrar of the university, Nazim Jafri, says that the university has no plan to open the registration window again. It is the result of the negligence of the candidates who failed to get the registration done.

Facility is being available in other universities –
While the registration portal for admissions under CUET in other universities was opened only last week and plans to keep it open till October, JMI closed the portal on September 10 itself.

What is the problem of the students?
Sharing their problem about this, the students of Jamia say that when the portal was open in Jamia, many students were involved in the CUET examination itself and were not aware about the Jamia Admission Portal. They could not even know when the portal opened and when it was closed in Jamia. Since this time the admissions are being done under the centralized process so they got confused in remembering the dates. Had there been separate admissions in Jamia, then this problem would not have arisen.

What is the opinion of the university
In this regard, University Registrar Najam Jafri says that the CUET exam was conducted between August 15 and 30. Whereas Jamia had first opened the portal between 27 and 29 August and then extended it till 10 September. It is the negligence of the students that they were not able to apply.
