Cashew Katli Recipe: Kaju Katli is a very tasty and favorite sweet in India. Every festival seems incomplete without this sweet. Although this sweet is very expensive in the market. But you can easily make it at home too. Only three ingredients are needed to make it. - 1 cup cashews
- ½ cup sugar
- 1/4 cardamom powder
- ghee for greasing
- silver work
Cashew Katli Recipe
- Put one cup of cashews in the mixer and make a fine powder.
- Put a pan on low flame, put sugar and water in it and boil it.
- Keep stirring the sugar and water until the sugar dissolves.
- When the sugar dissolves, boil the mixture until it becomes thick and sticky.
- Now reduce the flame and put cashew powder and cardamom powder in this mixture and mix it very well.
- Keep stirring the mixture until it starts to become like a big lump. It will take about 7 minutes.
- Turn off the gas and leave it to cool for 3 to 4 minutes.
- When it cools down, knead it a little with your hands so that it becomes soft.
- If the mixture becomes too dry, add a few drops of milk and knead it.
- Now grease the backside of a parat with ghee.
- Pour the prepared mixture on the smooth surface and grease your palms and rolling pin with ghee.
- Roll out the mixture with a rolling pin.
- Now cut it into square pieces with the help of a knife.
- Let it cool for three to four minutes.
- Separate the pieces and you can decorate it with silver work.
- Your Kaju Katli is ready, you can eat it after keeping it for 20 to 25 days.
