Female Pilots: It has been informed by Air India that it has 15 percent of the total number of female pilots. The airline claims that it has the largest number of women pilots. Air India currently has 1,825 pilots.
Whereas India is on top with women pilots. On International Women’s Day, Tata Group-owned Air India, Air India Express and AirAsia India have started operating more than 90 such flights, in which the crew members are all women. The company said in a statement that out of all 90 flights with fully female crew, Air India is operating 40 flights on domestic and international routes. On the other hand, Air India Express is operating 10 international flights and AirAsia India is operating more than 40 domestic flights.

Giving information in its statement, the airlines said that more than 40 percent of Air India’s employees are women. Of its 1,825 pilots, 275 are women, which is 15 per cent of the total number of pilots.
India is at the forefront of women pilots
Company’s CEO and Managing Director Campbell Wilson said that India is at the forefront of this number of toilets. He said, ‘We are proud of the women employees working with us in Air India. We thank all of them. He said that women are doing good work in all fields.
Women have a big role in these fields as well.
The Air India CEO said that more than one-third of the workforce in Air India Express and AirAsia India are women. Women have an important role in many departments including finance, business, HR, customer service, flight testing, technology, engineering, security and operations. There are a total of 97 women in both the airlines.
