The Indian team has given Umesh Yadav a chance against South Africa in place of Shami.

Shami has been running out of Team India since the ODI series against England. He was found to be Kovid-19 positive just before the recent series against Australia. After that he was on break. Shami told through the story of his official Instagram account that his report has come negative. Shami has put his corona report in the story. Fans are giving many types of reactions on this.

Significantly, the first match of the T20 series between India and South Africa will be played in Thiruvananthapuram. Shami did not go with Team India because of Kovid-19. So in his place Umesh was given a place in the team.
