[ad_1]

Mohammad Nawaz No ball: In the T20 World Cup 2022, the last over of the India-Pakistan (IND vs PAK) match on Sunday was very interesting. India needed 16 runs off 6 balls to win. Pakistan’s spin all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz was bowling this last over. Two wickets also fell in this over and 16 runs were also scored.

Nawaz gave only three runs in the first three balls and took one wicket. Here the match was in Pakistan’s custody. But the fourth ball of this over became the turning point of the match. Now there is a debate about this fourth ball. Actually, Nawaz had kept a full toss on the fourth ball of the over. It was seen coming right at the waist. Kohli hit a six on this and demanded a no-ball from the umpire. The umpire called this ball a no-ball and from here the direction of the match was reversed.

Now former Pakistan cricketers Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Shoaib Akhtar and Moin Khan have questioned this decision of the umpire. Veteran player Shoaib Malik has also spoken on this issue.

What did the former Pak cricketers say?
According to Wasim Akram, the on-field umpire should have taken the help of the third umpire before giving the no-ball. He said, ‘The ball was seen coming down. The batsman will demand a no-ball but if you have the technology then you should have used it.

Waqar Younis said, ‘Square leg umpire should have discussed this with the chief umpire first. After that he could go to the third umpire. That’s why the third umpire is sitting. This decision should have been left to him.

Shoaib Akhtar, while tweeting on this ball, has advised the umpire to think. He wrote, ‘Umpire brothers, this is a matter to think about for tonight.’

Although Moin Khan called this ball a no-ball. He said, ‘On seeing the replays, this ball appears to be a no-ball but the only mistake here was that the umpire should also have seen the replay at that time.’

Shoaib Malik also repeated the same thing
Shoaib Malik reiterated the same point. He said, ‘When you have the option of third umpire, then help should have been taken. This was necessary especially in such big and important matches. It would have been better if a decision had come after watching the replays.
