IND vs BAN ODI Series Trophy Reveal: These days the Indian team is present in Bangladesh for its next tour. A series of 3 ODIs and 2 Test matches will be played in this tour. The ODI series will begin tomorrow i.e. December 4, Sunday. The first match of the series will be played at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. Earlier, the captains of both the teams reached Mirpur to reveal the trophy of the ODI series.

ODI Trophy Revealed

Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Bangladeshi captain Litton Das unveiled the trophy in Mirpur. BCCI has shared the pictures of this moment through its official social media. First both the captains shook hands with each other, then showed off the trophy. The last match of the ODI series starting on 4th December will be played on Saturday, 10th December. After this, the test series will start from 14th December, Wednesday.

Umran Malik joins the team

Star fast bowler Mohammed Shami, who was involved in the Indian team’s ODI series, has been ruled out of the series due to injury. In his place, speed master Umran Malik has been included in the team. Recently, Umran made his debut in the ODI series played against New Zealand. Shami has suffered a shoulder injury. Umran has played a total of 3 ODIs so far.

There was a change in the captain of Bangladesh as well.

While announcing the team from Bangladesh, Tamim Iqbal was made the team captain, but he also had to be out of the team due to injury and the command was handed over to Liton Das in his place. Tamim was injured during the practice match played on Wednesday. Significantly, Liton Das will captain Bangladesh in ODIs for the first time. Litton has become the 15th captain of Bangladesh in ODIs.
