IGNOU To Launch New Course In Bhojpuri: IGNOU i.e. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has expedited the work of starting the Bhojpuri subject course (IGNOU Bhojpuri Course). Soon a course in Bhojpuri language can be done from IGNOU. The name of Bhojpuri is also going to be included in the names of many courses given on the IGNOU portal. The university had started preparations in this regard long ago, now these preparations have accelerated further. At present, the work of preparing the material for this topic is going on.
The material of the course is being prepared –
In this regard, Patna Regional Director Abhilash Nayak says that the work of preparing material for Bhojpuri subject is going on in full swing. This material model stands for Indian Languages (MIL). It will be beneficial that students will be able to study Bhojpuri subject along with other subjects.
The procedure followed under this system –
This process is being adopted like Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). It is also necessary to mention here that the responsibility of preparing the material of Bhojpuri language was given to a teacher from Gorakhpur. The material has been prepared and now the further process has been started.
What is the next process?
This material has been sent to another expert to see if there is any mistake in the prepared material of Bhojpuri language or if there is any scope for improvement. Dr. Diwakar Pandey, head of the department of Bhojpuri department of Veer Kunwar Singh University, has been selected for this. After getting the material from here, the further process will start.
This course will also start –
Not only this, initiative will also be taken to start courses for honors at the graduation level. For this permission is yet to be taken from Indira Gandhi National University, New Delhi. A proposal will also be sent for this from Patna Regional. Overall, Bhojpuri language studies will start from IGNOU soon.
