  • 1 inch cinnamon stick
  • 1 tbsp cream
  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala powder

Palak Chicken Recipe

  • To make Palak Chicken, first you have to marinate the chicken. Marinate the chicken in salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and 4 tbsp curd for 30 minutes.
  • Now put a bunch of coriander leaves, kasturi fenugreek leaves, 4 green chillies and 4 to 5 cashews in a blender and grind them, take them out and keep them aside.
  • Now put spinach in water and boil it well. Boil it till it becomes soft. Do not overcook the spinach leaves otherwise they will lose their colour.
  • Now blend the spinach leaves in a blender and make a smooth paste.
  • To make spinach chicken curry, put oil in a pan and add cumin. When the cumin starts crackling, add a finely chopped big onion to it.
  • After this add salt and cook the onion till it becomes transparent.
  • Add 1 tsp fresh ginger garlic paste and cook with onions for 2 minutes.
  • Now add finely chopped tomatoes to it and cook till it becomes soft.
  • Add one-fourth water and cook the chicken for 10 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Now slow down the gas and add the paste that was made to it.
  • Now after adding half a teaspoon of garam masala powder, let the gravy boil for about 2 minutes.
  • Add salt and lemon juice to it as per taste, remove it from the gas and add one big spoon of fresh cream.
  • Your Tasty Chicken Spinach is ready, you can serve it to guests with roti or rice.
