ICC On New Cricket Rules: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday asked the participating teams in the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia from October 16 to remember the new rules during the match. Given the exciting game of T20 cricket, the crucial moments can mean the difference between a win and a loss. The ICC recently announced several changes to the playing conditions, which came into effect from 1 October and some may become the subject of discussion in Australia.
The ICC cautioned teams on its website on Wednesday, saying, “In the format of the small gap, these changes (in play conditions) can become a more decisive moment in the match in Australia.”
These new rules can affect the T20 World Cup
The global cricket governing body said that teams, support staff and players need to focus on five major changes, which are as follows-
The non-striker needs to be in the crease, otherwise there will be danger of mankading.
No bowler can use saliva.
The new batsman has to take the strike within 2 minutes.
Teams will not get runs on the ball going out of the pitch.
– Inappropriate behavior of the fielder will attract a penalty of 5 runs.
T20 World Cup will start from October 16
For your information, let us tell you that the 2022 T20 World Cup will start from October 16. However, first the qualifying round will start and then the main event i.e. Super-12 will start from 22nd October. Team India will start its campaign against Pakistan on 23 October.
