Portal for Pensioners: Union Minister Jitendra Singh is going to launch a unified portal to meet the needs of pensioners. State Bank of India has become the first pension disbursing bank to link its portal with the portal of Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW), an official statement said on Monday. This will be part of the launch of this portal from Tuesday i.e. today. The Portal of Pensioners is a single window for meeting the needs of pensioners, the statement said.
In a statement issued by the Personnel Ministry, it has been said that the department analyzed the root cause of the grievances of the pensioners, which revealed that most of these problems are bank related complaints.
Anubhav Award ceremony will be organized in Delhi today
The department will organize an ‘Anubhav Puraskar’ function in Delhi on Tuesday to felicitate the award winners for the articles written for 2020, 2021 and 2022. The awards include a medal, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs 10,000. DoPPW, on the instructions of the Prime Minister of India, launched an online platform Anubhav in March 2015.
Unified portal will be launched today
Union Minister for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Jitendra Singh will preside over the award ceremony and launch a unified single window portal to meet the needs of pensioners, the statement said. Retired government employees will get a platform to share their experiences while working in various Ministries/Departments of the Government of India on the ‘Anubhav’ portal.
Know about Anubhav Portal
As on 30 September 2022, 92 Ministries or Departments and Organizations have registered on the Anubhav Portal and 8,722 articles have been published. Union Minister of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Jitendra Singh will preside over the award ceremony and launch it. Retiring employees, if required, voluntarily submit an article of up to 5,000 words on the portal. Retiring employees can submit articles on any of the 20 defined areas.
