Gold Silver Rate: A mixed trend is being seen in the prices of precious metals gold and silver today. There is some sluggishness in the bullion market of the country nowadays because the days of Pitru Paksha are going on and there is a decrease in the purchase of gold, silver or other gems, jewelery during this period. Global demand is also being affected as the dollar is showing strength. Apart from this, the effect is also being seen on the demand for gold and silver in the country.

Gold and silver prices in futures market
Today in the futures market (MCX Gold) both gold and silver (MCX Silver) are showing a mixed trend and while gold has become cheaper, there is a slight rise in silver prices. Gold October futures are getting cheaper by Rs 187 at Rs 49,193 per 10 grams. On the other hand, silver December futures are trading marginally higher by Rs 31 at Rs 56,751 per kg.

Gold became cheaper in the retail market
Today, gold has become cheaper in the country’s retail bullion market and is trading in a lower range. From Delhi to Mumbai and Kolkata to Patna, Jaipur, gold prices have fallen everywhere. This fall in prices is being seen from Rs 100 to Rs 110 per 10 grams.
