Investors Wealth Increases: The new financial year 2023-24 has been great for the investors of the Indian stock market. On March 28, the Sensex was at the level of 57,613, which has now crossed the 60,000 mark and reached 60,392 points. During this, a gain of about 2800 points has been seen in the Sensex. So the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange had fallen at the level of 16,951 and from there the index has come to the level of 17,812, that is, there has been a jump of 860 points in the Nifty. Apart from the rise in the index, there has been a tremendous jump in the market capitalization of the companies listed on BSE. On March 28, the market cap of listed stocks on BSE was Rs 251.86 lakh crore, which has now increased to Rs 265.65 lakh crore. That is, the wealth of investors has increased by about Rs 14 lakh crore.

Suddenly the sentiment seems to be changing in the market. Foreign investors have started returning to the Indian market again. Foreign investors have invested one billion dollars in these 8 sessions. Actually the market had come down 10 percent from its high. Foreign investors have started returning again after the valuation became attractive.

The results of the fourth quarter of 2022-23 have started coming. The quarterly results of TCS have been declared and in the coming days the results of big companies will be announced. The movement of the market will largely depend on the guidance of earnings of these companies in the new financial year.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted normal monsoon. After which it is believed that it can be good for Kharif crop. Due to this, there can be a decrease in inflation. After which the process of expensive loans can stop. Retail inflation has come down to a 15-month low of 5.66 per cent in March, which is within the RBI’s tolerance band. Since then, RBI has not changed the policy rates in the monetary policy, due to this there is enthusiasm in the market.
