Stock Market Opening: On the last trading day of the week, the move of the Indian stock market looks strong. Talking about the global indices, the US markets saw a decline yesterday and the Dow Jones, Nasdaq and S&P 500 indexes closed in the red mark. At the beginning of the market today, mixed signals are coming from Asian markets and SGX Nifty is seen trading in green mark. The market has got support in Bank Nifty. Shares of Axis Bank are up 4 per cent in the beginning.
How did the market start?
The BSE Sensex opened at 59,381.36 with a gain of 178.46 points, or 0.30 per cent, at the beginning of trading today. Apart from this, the Nifty of NSE has managed to open at 17,622 with a jump of 58.90 points or 0.34 percent.
How is the move of Sectoral Index
Talking about today’s business, there is a decline in the IT sector, media and metal stocks and all other sectoral indices are seen trading with green marks. Midcap indices are trading today with a jump of 0.3 percent.
Today’s Stocks Rising
Today 23 out of 30 stocks of Sensex are trading with a jump. Axis Bank is looking up about 6 per cent. Apart from this, shares of Titan, HUL, UltraTech Cement, SBI and Sun Pharma, M&M are also showing a jump. Among other rising stocks, Nestle, Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Asian Paints, LANT, Maruti, Wipro, ITC, PowerGrid, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories are also seen rising.
Today’s Falling Stocks
7 out of 30 Sensex stocks are down and in these, shares of Tech Mahindra, ITC, HCL Tech, HDFC, Tata Steel, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finance, Bharti Airtel are seeing a decline.
Market move in pre-open
Today, greenery is visible in the market in the pre-opening of the stock market. The BSE Sensex was seen at the level of 59340 with a gain of 137 points or 0.23 percent. On the other hand, NSE’s Nifty was trading at the level of 17593 with a gain of 29 points or 0.17 percent.
