Chat GPT vs Human: Open AI’s chatbot ‘Chat GPT’ has passed many exams so far. Last month, the company has launched its new version GPT-4 which is more advanced and accurate than before. However, to know how Chat GPT performs in the accounts paper, Brigham Young University and 186 other universities’ research conducted accounts exam with this chatbot. Along with this, the same question paper was also given to the children. The results that came out were shocking.
It was found from the results
After the paper, when the results came out, the performance of Chat GPT was amazing but the children performed much better than the chatbot. Children scored 76.7 per cent while Chat GPT was able to bring only 47.4 per cent. However, in 11.3 percent of the total questions, Chat GPT scored more than the children.
The chatbot performed better in the auditing and AIS questions, but in the tax, financial and managerial assessments, the chatbot struggled and did not perform better than the children. In a report published in Accounting Education, it was reported that Chat GPT performed well on True or False and Multiple Choice questions while it faltered on short answer questions.
Jessica Wood, a student at Brigham Young University, said that Chat GPT is not perfect yet and cannot be used everywhere. The student said that it would be wrong to learn everything from Chat GPT.

Even before this, Chat GPT has been seen struggling in many exams.
Let me tell you, this is not the first time that Chat GPT has been seen struggling in a paper. Even before this, this chatbot had given many wrong answers in a UPSC paper. Actually, the knowledge of this chatbot is limited and it starts giving wrong answers in many questions related to current affairs and mathematics. Surprisingly, the chatbot tries to justify its wrong answer as well.
