Ingredients

  • Gourd – one
  • Tomato – 1
  • Onion- 1
  • Garlic ginger paste- 1 tsp
  • Channa dal- as required
  • Coriander powder- half small spoon
  • red chili powder-half tablespoon
  • amchoor powder- 1 teaspoon
  • fennel -half teaspoon
  • garam masala -half teaspoon
  • Oil as per taste

How to make stuffed bottle gourd

  • First peel the bottle gourd lengthwise Cut it into equal pieces.
  • After this, cut tomato and onion and prepare a paste of both and keep them in a bowl.
  • Take soaked chana dal and Grind coarsely in the mixer and make a paste.
  • Now put oil in a pan and roast the dal paste well and take it out in a vessel.
  • Now again oil in the pan. Add mustard seeds after heating.
  • After this add onion paste, tomato paste, ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  • In this pan Cook for about 5 minutes while stirring
  • After this add chana dal paste.
  • Add turmeric and salt to it and leave it to cook well.
  • After 2 to 3 minutes add coriander powder, red chili, fennel powder and mix it.
  • After this add dry mango powder and mix.
  • When the paste is good When ready, keep it to cool down.
  • Cut the gourd between the two pieces and fill the paste in it.
  • After this again a little oil in the pan. Put it and heat it.
  • When the oil becomes hot, put stuffed gourd in it and leave it to cook.
  • Now cook the vegetable on low flame for about 10 minutes.

  • When the bottle gourd becomes soft, turn off the gas.
  • Your stuffed bottle gourd is ready, you can serve it with roti or paratha.
