Flipkart Company has not increased the salary of 30 percent of the top level employees. That is, the salary of the remaining 70 percent of the company’s employees has increased. 4,500 employees are being affected

According to ET, this decision of the company is going to affect around 4,500 employees. This has been revealed through an e-mail sent to the employees. In this e-mail, Flipkart has informed that this year senior employees who are working at Grade 10 and above level will not get any increment. It is to be known that people working on the posts like Manager and Vice President are included in Grade 10 and above. Flipkart has taken this decision after looking at the performance of January-December 2022.

Flipkart’s Chief People Officer Krishna Raghavan has informed the employees about this in an email. The company said that in view of the current macroeconomic situation, we want to be prudent in managing our resources keeping in mind the interests of our employees.

About 70 per cent of our employees will continue to get an increase in their compensation. This means we will continue to provide employee-centric policies, skill and training programs, promotions, ESOPs and medical insurance, among other benefits to all employees.

Employees will get bonus

This Walmart-owned company also said that bonus payments will continue for the employees. That is, some relief has also been given to these senior employees. Significantly, the Annual Assessment of the company has now been completed and the increment is expected to start from April 1, 2023.
