According to the website of the Reserve Bank of India, the names of the cities where banks will remain closed on May 1 are- Belapur, Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Nagpur, Mumbai, Panaji, Patna and Thiruvananthapuram. Branches will remain closed.

- May 1, 2023- Banks will remain closed in Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna and Trivandrum on account of Maharashtra Day/May Day.
- May 5, 2023- Banks will remain closed in Agartala, Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar due to Buddha Purnima.
- May 7, 2023- Banks will remain closed all over the country due to Sunday.

- May 27, 2023- Banks will remain closed due to fourth Saturday.
- May 28, 2023- Due to Sunday, there will be bank holiday in the whole country.
