AUS vs SA: Australia wraps up South Africa for 152, Proteas bowlers also wreak havoc

Brisbane Test: The three-match Test series between Australia and South Africa (AUS vs SA) has started. The first match is being played in Brisbane. Here the bowlers created a lot of panic on the first day. While the Australian bowlers bundled out South Africa for just 152 runs, the Proteas bowlers also took 5 wickets of Australia till the end of the day’s play.

Proteas team had lost 5 wickets for 27 runs
Australia won the toss and chose to bowl first here. This decision of captain Pat Cummins proved to be correct and the Australian fast bowlers sent four batsmen of the Proteas team to the pavilion in the first 11 overs of the first session itself. Temba Bavuma’s wicket fell on a total of 125 runs and after that back to back wickets kept falling and the whole team was all out for 152 runs in 48.2 overs. For Australia, Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon took 3–3 and Pat Cummins and Scott Boland took 2–2 wickets.

Proteas bowlers also wreaked havoc
Australia also had a very bad start. By the time the total of 27 runs was reached, the top order had disintegrated. David Warner (0), Usman Khawaja (11) and Marnus Labushane (11) returned to the pavilion. From here Steve Smith (36) and Travis Head (78) handled the innings. However, the Proteas bowlers ended the day in good fashion by sending Steve Smith and Scott Boland (1) to the pavilion in the last over of the last first day.
