Asian champion Sri Lanka announced the team for the tour of India, Dasun Shanaka will take command

Sri Lanka Squad: The Sri Lankan team to tour India in 2023 has announced its team for the T20 and ODI series. The T20 series is to be played between the two from January 3. At the same time, the ODI series will start from 10 January. In this tour, Dasun Shanaka will lead the Sri Lankan team for both the series. Whereas, there will be a change in the vice-captain. Kusal Mendis has been made the vice-captain of the ODI team and spinner Wanindu Hasaranga will be the vice-captain of the team in the T20 series.

A 20-member team has been announced from Sri Lanka for both the series. In this, different players have been selected for ODI and T20 series. For example, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, who played brilliant innings in the Asia Cup, will only be a part of the T20 team. Apart from this, Nuwan Thushara will also be included in the T20 team only. At the same time, batsmen Nuwanidu Fernando and Jeffrey Vandersay will be part of the ODI team only.
