Fifa U-17 Women’s World Cup: The FIFA U-17 Women’s Football World Cup has started in India. Today was the first day of this mega event and a total of 4 matches were played on the first day. To promote this tournament, the Sports Ministry of India is doing various things and in this episode they have run a campaign named ‘Kick of the Dream’. Awareness is being spread under this campaign and now Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan has also joined it. Sports Minister Anurag Thakur had tagged Ajay on Twitter and asked him to participate in this campaign.
Accepting Thakur’s challenge, Ajay uploaded a video of himself kicking the football and also challenged three other people for the same. This campaign was started in April this year where a message was given to spread awareness about the game. This challenge is going on fast on Twitter, in which the video has to be uploaded while kicking the football. While writing #KickOffTheDream, three other people also have to speak to take this challenge.
On the very first day of the Under-17 Women’s Football World Cup, the Indian women’s Under-17 team played a match against America. Before this match, all the celebrities and players had given best wishes to the Indian team. However, the first match was very disappointing for India, in which they had to face defeat by a huge margin of 8-0. The American team took a 5-0 lead in the first half itself. He also scored three goals in the second half.
