Adani Enterprises has informed the stock exchanges about this decision in a regulatory filing. With this, the price of shares bought in the open offer has also gone up to Rs 342.65 per share. Through two subsidiaries named RRPR Holding and Vishwapradhan Commercial, the total holding of Adani Enterprises in NDTV has reached 64.72 per cent.
Adani group brought open offer
Adani Enterprises had launched an open offer from 22 November to 5 December 2022 to buy 26 per cent stake in NDTV. Investors showed their interest in selling 53 lakh shares in open offer, despite getting a lower rate than the market rate.
Company’s command with Adani group
NDTV promoters Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy resigned as directors after the Adani group gained control of the company as it held a majority stake. Now both have only 2.5 per cent stake in the company.

After this news came to the fore, NDTV’s stock is trading at Rs 345 with a gain of 1.71 per cent on Tuesday. In the last one year, there has been a lot of ups and downs in the stock of NDTV. The stock has also touched a high of Rs.567 and has seen a low of Rs.103.
