Sundar Pichai Says Bard Will Be Improved, Explains Why It Lost To ChatGPT

[ad_1]

Google AI Bard: After the launch of ChatGPT, it started being discussed worldwide. Only the news of the exploits of AI was coming out from all sides. Chat GPT was seen as a competitor of Google. Then the news came that Google has also brought its AI, whose name is Bard. However, after the launch of Bard, it faced many criticisms. Bard simply couldn’t do the things Chat GPT is capable of doing. Now Google CEO Sundar Pichai has said that Google will soon launch a more capable AI model.

Bard Couldn’t Stand Ahead of ChatGPT and Bing

Bard was rolled out to the general public on March 21, but it couldn’t stand up to OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Microsoft’s Bing chatbot. Now regarding Bard, Google CEO Sundar Pichai said during the New York Times Hard Fork podcast, “We have more capable models. Very soon, we will upgrade Bard to some of our better Pathway Language Model (PaLM) models. Better than Capabilities will come, so that it will be able to answer the questions of Reasoning, Coding and Maths better.

Why Bard Limited?

Pichai further said, “You will see the process in Bard from next week. The reason for Bard’s limited capabilities was Google’s caution. We kept Bard limited so that we could confirm that it is suitable for the user and that the company can handle it.” It was not necessary to have a more capable model in that situation.” Pichai also said that he is talking to Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin about the work. He also said that AI is progressing very fast today, due to which he is worried that it may become a threat to the society.

Pichai also denied that Google used ChatGPT data to train Bard. Let us tell you that Bard is also based on a large language model (LLM), like OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Microsoft’s Bing chatbot.
