Slight rise in stock market, Sensex rises above 57500, Nifty opens near 17000

Stock Market Opening: On the first trading day of the week, trading has started with a slight rise in the stock market. The market is getting support from the signal of US futures and is proving to be helpful for this. As soon as the market opens, a jump of more than 100 points is being seen in the Sensex and the Nifty has come very close to 17,000.

In today’s trade, the BSE’s 30-share index Sensex opened at 57,566.90 with a gain of 39.80 points. NSE’s 50-share index Nifty has managed to open at 16,984.30 with a gain of 39.25 points or 0.23 per cent.

Today, only 11 out of 30 BSE Sensex stocks are showing gains in early trade and the decline in banking stocks has pulled the market down. A decline is being seen in 19 out of 30 Sensex stocks. Apart from this, 23 out of 50 stocks of NSE Nifty are seeing a boom and trading is being seen with a decline in 26 stocks. 1 The stock is trading unchanged.

Banking stocks pulled the market down

Today, due to the fall in banking stocks, the initial boom of the market has evaporated and this fall is not allowing the stock market to go up much.
