Keshav Maharaj Injury: In the second Test match played between South Africa and West Indies, the Proteas won a resounding victory by 284 runs. Incident happened in celebration of Kyle Mayers’ wicket

Kyle Meyers, the West Indies batsman who came to bat at number 6, was run by Kesh Maharaj through LLBW. Meyer’s wicket fell in the 19th over. The field umpire did not declare Meyers out. After this, South African captain Temba Bavuma resorted to review and added another wicket to his team’s account. After this Maharaj started celebrating this wicket and he fell on the ground and the medical team reached to see him. The situation got so bad that Keshav Maharaja had to be taken out of the ground on a stretcher.

Keshav took a total of three wickets in this match. In this, he took one wicket in the first innings and took 2 wickets in the second innings. In the second innings, Keshav was able to bowl only 2.5 overs, in which he spent 4 runs with one maiden over.

South Africa won the series

South has won 2-0 in the two-Test series. The team had won the first match by 87 runs and in the second match Temba Bavuma-led South Africa won by 284 runs. In the second innings of the second match, African captain Temba Bavuma played a brilliant inning of 172 runs with the help of 20 fours.
