Zomato Update: Online food delivery company Zomato has discontinued the service which used to deliver within 10 minutes on its app, which was known as Zomato Instant. The company was facing difficulties in expanding and popularizing this service. Zomato started 10-minute food delivery service from Delhi MCR and Bangalore last year.
The company also got success in this service but the growth of this service was not happening as expected. The company was facing difficulty in expanding the menu in many areas. The company was not finding this a profitable deal. The company was not able to get enough orders even for 10 minutes delivery due to which the company was not able to recover its fixed cost.
Zomato is preparing to launch a new product after discontinuing this service. Now the focus of the company is on low-value packed meals including thani or combo mills. The new service can be launched in 7 to 10 days. According to media reports, Zomato will not stop 10-minute delivery, but it will be rebranded. According to Zomato, Instant is not being discontinued. Now the company is working on a new menu with its partners. And this decision of the company has not had any effect on any person.
Zomato started the 10-minute food delivery service in March 2022. Then the company’s MD CEO Deepinder Goyal wrote in a blog post that no one in the world would have delivered hot and fresh food in 10 minutes at this large level in 10 minutes and for the first time to start this type of service, we Desperate.
