Gatte Ki Sabzi Recipe: Gatte ki sabzi is one of the very famous dish of Rajasthan. Rajasthani people mostly make it. Its taste and flavor is very delicious. It is not easy for everyone to make gatte ki sabzi, even if some people try, it gets spoiled, in such a situation, if people want to taste it, they eat it in restaurant or dhaba. Material
- One cup gram flour for making Gatte
- half teaspoon ajwain
- Half teaspoon turmeric powder
- Half teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 tsp desi ghee
- salt to taste
- a cup of curd
- asafoetida half teaspoon
- Cumin
- whole red pepper
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 finely chopped green chilies
- Garlic ginger paste 1 tbsp
- finely chopped coriander for garnish
Gatte Ki Sabzi Recipe
- First of all, mix gram flour, turmeric, red chili powder, carom seeds and ghee in a bowl and mix well.
- Now add three to four spoons of curd to it and knead it well.
- Mix it by adding a little water, keep kneading it until it becomes smooth.
- After this, take gram flour and roll it. Make them in cylindrical shape and keep them.
- Now pour water in a pan and keep it for heating. Put gram flour balls in this water one by one and cook them.
- When small bubbles start coming on top of the Gatte, then understand that your Gatte is cooked. Take them out in a separate plate and cool them.
- Now put ghee in a pan and heat it, now add cumin, asafoetida, dry red chillies and stir for a few seconds.
- After this add finely chopped onion and fry it till it becomes golden.
- When the love is fried, add green chili and ginger-garlic paste to it and stir.
- Then add turmeric and red chili powder, salt and coriander powder and stir well.
- Now slow down the gas flame, add a little water to it and gradually add beaten curd and keep stirring.
- Keep in mind that the curd has to be stirred continuously, otherwise the curd will curdle.
- Cook it for 3 to 4 minutes and cut the gatte according to your choice and put it in it.
- Cook it for some time and when the aroma starts coming, then understand that your gatte sabzi is ready.
- Garnish with green coriander from above and serve.
