Vegetable Idli

Idli is the best option for breakfast. You can give a little twist to the taste by adding vegetables to it.

  • 1- cup rava
  • 1 cup – vegetable (chopped)
  • Half cup – curd
  • 1 tbsp – oil
  • 1 pinch – Asafoetida
  • cumin and mustard seeds
  • 5-6- curry leaves
  • 1 tsp – gram dal
  • 1 tsp- Ginger (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp – Carrot (chopped)
  • 1 tsp – Green chili (chopped)
  • 1 tsp – turmeric powder
  • tsp – red chili powder

First of all, add rava, curd and water in a bowl and mix them all well. Now peel all the vegetables and keep them for boiling. Now prepare the ingredients for tempering. For this heat oil in a pan, add mustard, cumin, curry leaves, finely chopped vegetables, gram dal, asafoetida. When the tempering is cooked well, put it in the rava mixture. Now add salt and mix. If necessary, add water to the mixture and prepare a batter. Now apply oil in the idli stand and put idli batter in it and keep it on the gas. Let it cook for 15 to 20 minutes on low flame. When the idli is cooked, take it out separately. Serve with chutney or sambar.

Jaggery and sooji pudding

You make semolina pudding in breakfast. You can add new flavor by adding jaggery instead of sugar.

material

  • 1 cup – semolina
  • 1/2 cup- Desi Ghee
  • 1/2 cup – jaggery
  • 1 cup – water
  • 3 cardamom
  • 1 cup- Dry fruits (almonds- pistachios)
  • 2 spoons – Kewra

First clean semolina and make jaggery powder. Now heat ghee in a pan and add dry fruits to it and roast it lightly. Then take it out in a plate. Heat ghee again in the same pan and then fry semolina. Now put saffron milk in it. Cook this mixture till it thickens. Now in another pan add ghee, cardamom and 1 cup jaggery and prepare a syrup of one string. Add semolina to it and mix it well. Add one spoon of ghee and dry fruits on top. Your delicious halwa is ready.

Paneer Paratha

You can make Paneer Paratha in the first kitchen of your in-laws. This is a better option than plain paratha.

material

  • Flour – 200 grams
  • Green chili – 4-5 (finely chopped)
  • Coriander leaves – 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Butter – 2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Paneer – 1/2 cup
  • oil or ghee – for roasting

Add salt to the flour and knead it well and keep it aside for 5 to 7 minutes. Now mix all the ingredients like paneer, chopped green chilies, green coriander and black pepper powder etc. in a separate vessel. Paratha stuffing is ready. Now make dough balls and make two thin rotis. Now place the mixture on a roti and press it well from all the edges by placing another roti on top. Now fry the paratha with butter. Take ready paneer paratha. Serve this with green chutney or curd.
