WPI Inflation: There has been a surprising decrease in the wholesale inflation rate in November. It has come down to 5.85 percent, which is the lowest level in 21 months. Commerce Ministry has released the wholesale inflation rate data today. Two months ago, the WPI Inflation was at the level of 10.55 percent and in October it has registered a decline of 4.70 percent.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Commerce on Wednesday, there has been a change in the WPI index from month to month. A growth of 0.39 percent was seen in the WPI index in October, but there has been a decrease of 0.26 percent in November. The main reason for the decline in the month of November is due to the decline in food articles, basic metals, textiles, chemicals and chemical products.
