IND vs BAN 2nd Test: In the two-match Test series played between India and Bangladesh, the Indian team won 2-0. The team maintained the record of not losing a Test match against Bangladesh by winning the second match by 3 wickets. KL Rahul, who captained the team in the absence of Rohit Sharma, expressed his reaction after winning the series. Describing the condition of the dressing room, he said that there was a lot of tension there.

Not going to lie, there was a lot of tension in the dressing room…

Talking after the match, KL Rahul said, “You trust the middle players. We have played enough cricket to realize that somebody is going to put forth their hand to win us matches. But I won’t lie, there was a lot of tension in the dressing room. It was a difficult wicket to bat on, they put us under pressure in both the innings. It was somewhat of a new ball surface, once the ball was soft it was easy to score runs.”

He further said, “It was a matter of who plays the new ball better. We lost a few more wickets chasing the target but we got the job done. The bowling attack has been a case in point for the past few years till now. Wherever we have gone abroad in the last few years, we have completed the work.

Rahul flopped in the series

KL Rahul appeared flop in this entire series. He scored 57 runs in a total of 4 innings of both the matches. His performance as a captain is quite worrying. Not only in this series but in Tests this year, runs have come out of his bat at an average of just 17.12. Rahul has scored only 137 runs in 8 innings of 4 matches this year. During this, only one half-century has come out of his bat.
