Women T20 WC: Team India will play the first match against Pakistan on February 12, know how is the schedule

ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023: The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will be organized this time in South Africa from 10 February. The Indian women’s team will begin their campaign in this mega event against arch-rivals Pakistan on February 12 at the Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town. Harmanpreet Kaur will take the field for the third time in a row as captain in the T20 World Cup. In the last T20 World Cup hosted by Australia in the year 2020, the Indian team had reached the finals, but they had to face defeat from the hosts in the title match.

This time the Indian team has got a place in Group-B in the Women’s T20 World Cup, which includes teams from England, West Indies and Ireland along with Pakistan. The top 2 teams from this group will be able to make it to the semi-finals. The semi-finals of the Women’s T20 World Cup will be played on 23 and 24 February. At the same time, the final match of T20 World Cup will be played in Cape Town on 26 February.

This will be the 8th edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup. Earlier in the year 2009, for the first time, the Women’s T20 World Cup was hosted by England. So far, where the Australian women’s team has won this trophy 5 times, the England and West Indies women’s teams have also won the T20 World Cup title 1-1 times.
